In a stripped-down room, in the heart of an abandoned hangar, the powerful owner of Europe's largest arms company agrees to answer questions from a young local journalist. But what was supposed to be a formal interview quickly takes an unexpected turn and transforms into a disturbing psychological duel. A tense and rhythmic dialogue, permeated by ambiguity, during which the roles of victim and executioner are constantly questioned and reversed.
Through essential staging and a minimalist but powerful set design, L’Uomo più crudele del mondo explores the boundary between humanity and ferocity, individual responsibility, instinct, and reason. The show takes the audience on a dark and unsettling journey, leading to a denouement that transforms the title into a question: who truly is the cruelest man in the world?
