Overview
Laura Veirs, American singer-songwriter, has released 14 albums over her 25-year career. She has collaborated with many artists including KD Lang, Sufjan Stevens, Neko Case, Bill Frisell, Kate Stables and many more.
Her music blends the poetic sensibilities of contemporary folk with the fervour of independent rock.
In 2027, Laura returns to Europe for an intimate solo tour, presenting her new album, Temple Song, her first in four years and the first she has written, recorded, arranged, produced and performed entirely on her own.
The album is intimate, dreamlike, courageous and gently provocative, built around Veirs's nylon-string guitar, vulnerable vocals and daring electric guitar embellishments, with the new songs lending themselves perfectly to being performed live in a stripped-back form.
A great moment in prospect!
