Overview
The Théâtre de Poche-Montparnasse (L) presents LE POISSON-SCORPION Text: Nicolas Bouvier Directed by: Catherine Schaub Starring: Samuel Labarthe Running time: 1h10 In the guise of Samuel Labarthe, Nicolas Bouvier returns.
Having taken us across the Balkans, Afghanistan and India, the travelling writer breaks his journey in Ceylon. Fever forces him to suspend his route and stay for many long months in a room teeming with insects and strange visions.
From this forced immobility emerges an inner crossing, funny, lucid and profoundly alive. Writing becomes a remedy, a means of transforming reality and rebuilding oneself.
And so Le Poisson-Scorpion is born, a surprising manual for personal use… An inner journey that takes us very far away! Reservations for people with reduced mobility: 01 45 44 50 21
