Judith Magre et Eric Naulleau

Judith Magre and Éric Naulleau evoke Eugène Ionesco A talk devised and hosted by Eric NAULLEAU around the work of Eugène IONESCO Texts read by Judith MAGREEugène Ionesco was one of the great artistic figures of Montparnasse in the 1960s. Father of the 'theatre of the absurd' - a label he preferred to replace with the word 'insolite' (unusual) - he wrote numerous plays that still travel the world: Rhinoceros, The Bald Soprano, The Chairs, Exit the King... Ionesco left his mark on the second half of the 20th century through his despairing lucidity, which he set against an inimitable comic inventiveness. His work is driven by an intense mystical quest. Judith Magre and Eric Naulleau continue their journey among the poets by inviting this rare visionary writer into their now legendary duo, a writer who said: "Truth lies in the imaginary". Let us believe him!
