Les Gros Patinent Bien

Presentation: He leaves the plains of the Far North, cursed by a mermaid caught by accident. He escapes on roller skates, on a scooter, in a cardboard aeroplane.

He discovers Scotland, then heads south again on the back of a mule, slaughtering a few bagpipers along the way, and searches for love, always. But the actor in a three-piece suit stays seated, which is the madness of the show.

His sidekick in a swimsuit bustles around him with hundreds of pieces of cardboard bearing the names of the countries, props or creatures they encounter. Swashbuckling adventures unfold through ingenuity and gags: it is an explosion of brilliant, zany ideas.

A poetic and off-the-wall odyssey! MOLIÈRE for best public theatre show. Directed by Pierre Guillois. Written by Olivier Olivier Martin-Salvan. Producer: Compagnie Le Fils du Grand Réseau and Ki m'aime me suive. Cast: Pierre Guillois and Olivier Martin-Salvan.
