Overview
For more than ten years, the crew Sons of Wind – Fils du Vent – has been spreading the spirit of freestyle hip-hop! In this choreographic essay, nine dancers return to the essence of their art: the constant dialogue between music and contact with the ground.
To the rhythm of live-played beats, they take over the stage and transform it into a club.
In this electrified atmosphere, every movement bounces back in a burst of pure exuberance: Bounce is a tribute to hip-hop culture, a suspended moment where dance becomes a universal language. Choreographer: Yann Lumi Joseph-Auguste.
Collective writing / Dancers and musicians: Joakim Twizzy Chardonnens, Dereck Prudent, Nathan Nathy Kinsiona, Anaël Lypso Régent, Kristina Krissy Kunn, Mickaël Kara Saint-Felix, Amiel Mampouya, Junior Steve Phaonce Cadet, Kassy Bondoko. Lighting: Xavier Lescat.
Sound: Lucie Béguin. Artistic direction: Amina Kilcher, Yann Lumi Joseph-Auguste.
Co-productions and support: Collectif FAIR-E / CCN de Rennes et de Bretagne, Théâtre Louis Aragon – Tremblay-en-France, IADU (Fondation de France – La Villette 2023), Auditorium de Seynod, La Place – Paris, DRAC Île-de-France
