Overview
This show features seven extraordinary acrobats and a musician in a performance that is at once raw, intense, fragile and playful. Intimacy with the audience is sought so strongly that you can feel the heat, hear every breath and be immersed in the effort.
There is no make-up, no set and no staging here: it is a visceral exchange between these acrobats and the audience. Each performer goes in search of their physical limit and takes the risk of lowering their guard, of showing their failure and their momentary weakness. It is this honesty that lies at the very heart of the company's work: infinitely human, generous and alive. A show by the company Gravity and Other Myths. Music: Elliot Zoerner. Acrobats: 7 members of the company. Supported by the Australian Government and the Australia Council. Distributed in France by Kinetic in agreement with Aurora Nova. Winner of the 'best circus' award.
