Award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter Loreena McKennitt announces a European tour of 30 concerts to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her album "The Mask and The Mirror".
These dates, taking place in spring 2027 and passing through 9 countries including France, constitute the third phase of the artist's anniversary tour celebrating the release of this landmark album in 1994.
Often described as a defining moment in her career, it is praised for its "intercultural fertilization" mixing Celtic, Spanish and Moroccan influences. Upon its release, the LA Times described it as "music full of dark depths, spiritual aspirations and secular echoes".
The album, which the artist herself considers a "historical and musical pilgrimage", has sold over two million copies worldwide. At each concert, Loreena McKennitt will spotlight fan-favorite songs and perform all the songs from the album "The Mask and The Mirror" in order.
She will be accompanied by her musicians Caroline Lavelle on cello, Brian Hughes on guitar, Hugh Marsh on violin, Dudley Phillips on bass and Robert Brian on drums.
