Mono

The Japanese post-rock group Mono takes to the stage at the Cabaret Sauvage for a Paris date.

Formed in Tokyo in 1999, Mono established itself on the international scene with an instrumental approach to post-rock, marked by the release of its first album, Under the Pipal Tree, in 2001. The Japanese band crafts a musical writing in which orchestral crescendos, distorted guitars and melancholic textures intersect, placing it in the lineage of the great instrumental rock ensembles.

On stage, Mono delivers a dense, uncompromising set, led by a tight line-up built around its founding members. The performance relies on a constant dynamic power, moving from silence to sonic eruption. This tour appeals to fans of instrumental rock and long-form compositions, in the circular space of the Cabaret Sauvage located in the Parc de la Villette.
