Nos beaux parents

By Joseph Gallet, Pascal Rocher

Directed by Anne Bouvier

With Jessica Berthe Godart, Joseph Gallet, Dominique Merot, Pascal Rocher, Nathalie Tassera

They have loved each other forever. Their families have hated each other for several generations. Their marriage has always been impossible, but they made a pact: if they are not happy by the age of 40, they will marry whatever the cost. The date is set: a secret wedding in a luxury hotel at the end of the world. But Julie's mother and Romain's father turn up unannounced, still determined to prevent this union. The atmosphere quickly becomes stormy inside the bungalow, but also outside, as a storm is fast approaching, forcing everyone to stay indoors. The evening takes a turn when a journalist is found murdered in the neighbouring bungalow. He held compromising information about each of them. All of them have a motive, and all of them become suspects. A family investigation then unfolds, punctuated by suspicion, accusations, revelations, betrayals and other settling of scores. The masks fall, alliances are made and unmade.

One night. One family. One crime. And a wedding to save... or to bury
