Overview
Parler pointu is a comedy presented as a funny and touching epic about the accent, at the Théâtre Coluche in Plaisir.
Parler pointu is a comedy built like an epic, both funny and touching, whose subject is the accent. The title sets the tone: the show takes as its material that speech trait which sets each person apart and gets them noticed, and draws from it a story that blends humour and emotion.
Benjamin Tholozan, a performing arts artist, and Brice Ormain are associated with this production. It is staged at the Théâtre Coluche in Plaisir (Yvelines), a venue for concerts and shows that here hosts a theatre performance in a comic register.
The show is aimed at audiences curious about theatrical comedy, who want to discover a story told through the way people speak, somewhere between laughter and tenderness.
