Overview
American band Void takes to the stage at Studio56 for a punk rock evening, accompanied by Xaper.
Formed in the United States in the early 1980s and active from 1979, Void is a key part of the history of American hardcore punk. The band gained recording renown by contributing to the split vinyl The Faith / Void, released in 1982 on the independent label Dischord Records, founded by Ian MacKaye. This foundational release illustrates the raw energy and sonic radicalism that have characterized the band since its inception.
On stage, the group delivers a direct set, true to the roots of 1980s punk. Short, incisive compositions follow one another with a constant physical intensity, driven by a tight electric lineup. The evening is rounded out by the presence of Xaper, placing this bill firmly within a rock and alternative aesthetic.
This concert is particularly aimed at fans of historical punk rock and uncompromising amplified music. The audience gathers at the Studio56 venue, located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, to attend this meeting between American hardcore and the contemporary scene.
