Simple Minds

Recognised as one of the finest stage bands of its generation, demand to see Simple Minds in concert has grown exponentially in recent years.

The “Simple Minds V Tour 2027” promises an exceptional live music experience: 5 cities in France for a total celebration of five decades of music by a band that has not only managed to stay in tune with each new generation, but also continues to create and perform with the same energy.

Formed in the 1970s and taking its name from a phrase in the lyrics of David Bowie’s signature single “The Jean Genie” (1972), Simple Minds has become one of the most famous British bands of all time.

It has sold more than 60 million records worldwide, topped the singles charts on both sides of the Atlantic, and seen its albums reach number one in charts around the world, including five albums that went to number one in the UK: *Sparkle In The Rain* (1984), *Once Upon A Time* (1985) and *Street Fighting Years* (1989), as well as the live album *Live In The City Of Light* (1987) and the compilation *Glittering Prize 81/92*.

Among their many international hits are “Alive and Kicking”, “Promised You A Miracle”, “Waterfront”, “(Don’t You) Forget About Me”, “Belfast Child”, “Sanctify Yourself”, “She’s a River” and “Let There Be Love”.

The single “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, a number one in the United States in 1985, remains a global streaming success and has recently joined the prestigious “Spotify Billions Club”.
