Rupture + Flippeur

GIG: FLIPPEUR (MARSEILLE) + RUPTURE (LYON) Groom’s Last Call: The final lap. 2 months of celebrations to mark Lyon's nightlife, our beloved little venue & everyone who has brought it to life. Last Call is the final dance, the final night, the final drink.

com/ Rupture is a new punk rock band, formed by familiar faces from the Lyon scene, driven by French-language lyrics. Their first tracks are committed and hard-hitting. The band tackles sociopolitical themes with sincerity and intensity.

The absurdity of our daily lives, the emergence of a new moral order and the difficulty of looking to the future are explored in turn. FLIPPEUR: (𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝗴𝗴-𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀) Flippeur is like an electric meteorite cutting across today's alternative scene.

With Elastique, their debut EP, the band delivers eight fast-paced tracks in French, where the energy of garage rock and the speed of synth-punk collide.

Two abrasive guitars, a galloping bassline, a whistling synth and drums racing at 200 bpm: Flippeur makes you dance, shakes you up and derails with a sense of humour.

Born in spring 2025, Flippeur draws on the DIY ethos and egg-punk energy, while shunning neither melancholy nor self-mockery. si=tIoJfj39qN5pBYOj
