Say Yes Dog

Say Yes Dog, the trio known for its stage energy and catchy melodies, is making a stop at Le Petit Bain. An occasion to discover their independent pop-rock universe.

Formed in 2012, Say Yes Dog is an international group made up of Belgian Gary Franck (vocals, keyboards), German Pascal Karier (drums) and Luxembourgish Mickael Goffard (bass). It was after their studies in Maastricht, in the Netherlands, that the three musicians decided to join forces to create a sound of their own. Their music is characterised by a fusion of electronic pop, independent rock and touches of funk, producing tracks that are both danceable and melodic. Their first EPs, such as "A Friend" (2013), quickly drew attention, laying the foundations for their distinctive style.

The group has built a solid reputation through its studio albums, notably "Plastic Love" (2015) and "Dr. Hook" (2019). These records were praised for their polished production and clever compositions, blending catchy basslines, atmospheric synthesisers and the distinctive voice of Gary Franck. Tracks such as "A Second" or "Girl Like You" have become staples of their sets, illustrating their ability to create pop-rock anthems that resonate with a broad audience. Their discography shows a constant evolution while retaining the essence of their original sound.

On stage, Say Yes Dog is known for its dynamism and its interaction with the audience. The trio turns each concert into an immersive experience, where the contagious energy of the musicians spreads quickly. Their performances are often described as both precise and spontaneous, with a palpable chemistry between the members of the group. This stop at Le Petit Bain offers an opportunity to experience them live, in the intimacy of a Parisian venue that is used to welcoming emerging and established talent from the independent music scene. It is a chance to discover, or rediscover, the breadth of their repertoire and their captivating stage presence.
