Sébastien Ellis Swing Band

The Sébastien Ellis Swing Band takes over the stage at Caveau de la Huchette for an evening dedicated to the standards and energy of traditional jazz.

Led by drummer Sebastian Ellis, this ensemble explores the swing repertoire inherited from the golden age of jazz orchestras. The lineup brings together seasoned instrumentalists around an acoustic and danceable aesthetic, faithful to the roots of New Orleans and classic American jazz. The arrangements highlight the interaction between the brass, double bass and drums, in the spirit of a permanent jam session.

On stage, the band delivers a dynamic set designed to revive the tradition of historical clubs. The performance relies on rigorous technique and a keen sense of rhythm, characteristic of the current swing scene. This date is aimed at fans of acoustic jazz, swing dancing and improvised music.

Caveau de la Huchette, located in the 5th arrondissement, offers a historic underground setting with stone vaults, ideal for acoustic concerts. Listening takes place up close to the musicians, in the direct proximity to the stage that has characterized this Parisian venue dedicated to jazz for decades.
