Overview
The Wackids at L'Avant-Seine / Théâtre de Colombes
Back to the future with the Wackids, on a mission to prove to the younger generation that rock survived the millennium bug!
Armed with their arsenal of toy instruments that would put any Fender guitar to shame, they deliver a hair-raising concert! On the programme for this hellish trio: offbeat humour, outrageous staging and infectious nostalgia. Children of the 1980s, the Wackids travel back in time to the 2000s, a "blessed" era when today's parents discovered reality TV, tecktonik and the internet all at once! A toucan kazoo, a Spider-Man drum kit or even a Hello Kitty microphone: everything is ideal for an intergalactic voyage, set to the soundtrack of that decade: Philippe Katerine, Gorillaz or Britney Spears. With dazzling energy, the band shows that there is no age limit to being rock and roll, in a show that sets every audience alight.
