Overview
American rock group The Wallflowers takes over the Alhambra stage for a Paris date marked by folk rock.
Formed in 1989 in Los Angeles by singer Jakob Dylan, The Wallflowers belong to the lineage of alternative rock, folk rock and American roots rock. The band released its self-titled debut album in 1992 on Columbia Records before establishing itself lastingly on the international scene, thanks to carefully crafted compositions with direct melodies, carried by the distinctive voice of its frontman.
On stage, the line-up deploys an energy centred on guitars and the classic structures of American rock, alternating upbeat numbers with ballads touched by americana. This Paris show is aimed at fans of melodic rock and traditional songwriting, keen to rediscover the warmth of compositions built for live performance within the Alhambra.
