Vincent Peirani

Accordionist Vincent Peirani performs on the stage of Le Bataclan for a concert centred around jazz and its aesthetic crossovers.

For several years now, Vincent Peirani has established himself as one of the major figures in contemporary accordion, renewing the approach to his instrument at the crossroads of jazz, improvised music and chanson. Trained alongside major names on the European scene, the artist takes on a multitude of unique projects, whether unexpected duos, orchestral ensembles or cross-genre collaborations with figures from rock and classical music. His discography reflects a constant search for innovative sound textures and a breaking down of stylistic barriers.

On stage, this approach translates into a set that is both rigorous and liberated, where the acoustics of the accordion occasionally blend with subtle electronic effects. The layout of Le Bataclan allows for an appreciated closeness between the audience and the musicians, fostering attentive listening to a repertoire that demands as much concentration as energy. This evening is aimed at jazz enthusiasts who are curious to discover original instrumental formats and playing that pushes the technical limits of the accordion.
