About — The artist
Boris (ボリス, Borisu) is a Japanese experimental music group, performing in various styles, from energetic stoner rock to drone doom. The band's name comes from an extremely heavy and distorted Melvins song, much like their album Amplifier Worship. Boris has notably worked with Sunn O))) and Merzbow. In 2009, they signed the original soundtrack for the film The Limits of Control, directed by Jim Jarmusch.
