D'espairsRay are a Japanese industrial metal band tinged with visual kei, from Tokyo, formed in 1999. Signed to Delicious Deli Records, they released the album '[Coll:set]' in 2005 before splitting up in 2011.

D'espairsRay, formerly stylised DéspairsRay or +DéspairsRay+, is a Japanese industrial metal band with visual kei influences. Formed in 1999, the band broke up in 2011, and briefly reformed for a concert in 2014.
Musically, the group opts for industrial metal, nu metal, and alternative rock, tinged with elements of electronic music and pop.
