Dany Brillant, stage name of Daniel Cohen, born on December 28, 1965, in Tunis, Tunisia, is a French swing singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actor known for his style inspired by American crooners.
He wrote and sang his first track, Suzette. In 1991, he released his first album, C'est ça qui est bon; the opus was certified double gold record in just under two years. This was followed by the albums C'est toi (1993), Havana (1996), Nouveau Jour (1999), Dolce Vita (2001), Jazz… à La Nouvelle-Orléans (2004), Histoire d'un amour (2007), and then other lesser-known records.
In cinema, he appeared in Alain Corneau's Le Nouveau Monde (1995), and played supporting roles in other productions.
