Éric Serra, born September 9, 1959 in Saint-Mandé, is a French bassist and composer. He has been the official composer of music for Luc Besson films since the early 1980s.
Nominated six times for the César between 1986 and 2000, Éric Serra won the César for Best Film Music for Le Grand Bleu in 1989.
