About — The artist
Fear Factory [fɪəɹ ˈfæktəɹi] is an American industrial metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1990, Fear Factory drew its influence from the heavy metal scene of the mid to late 1990s. In March 2002, the band disbanded following a conflict between its members, but reformed later without Dino Cazares, founding member and guitarist of the band. Former bassist Christian Olde Wolbers took his place, replaced at his previous post by Byron Stroud. In September 2020, singer Burton C. Bell officially announced his departure from the band following legal disputes with the other band members.
