About — The artist
Gwendoline is a cold wave band from Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine. Formed in 2015, it is composed of Pierre Barrett and Mickaël Olivette. The band claims to play "shlag wave", with lyrics about a disillusioned society, incorporating self-deprecation and fatalism.
The band released a first album in 2017, Après c'est gobelet, which found its audience in the early 2020s, and then released a second album in 2024.
