About — The artist
Hed PE, stylised as (hәd)p.e., also known as (HeD) Planet Earth, is an American nu metal band from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1994, they are signed to the Suburban Noise label. At the end of the music video for the track 'No Rest for the Wicked', another interpretation of Hed PE appears.
The band's line-up combines/blends several of the aforementioned music styles. The group's musical identity is characterised by its vocals ranging from hip-hop to reggae and rapcore, its heavy nu metal/punk guitars, its soaring samples/scratches, and its rhythmic grind-punk drumming. Led by singer and frontman Jared Gomes, Hed PE has released a total of sixteen studio albums, one CD/DVD, and three compilations over their 24-year career.
