About — The artist
Jean-François Pauzé, known as JF Pauzé, is a Quebecois singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known as the guitarist and a member of the band Les Cowboys fringants, which he co-founded with singer Karl Tremblay in 1995. He is the band's primary lyricist and composer, having written the majority of their songs.
Although not the lead singer, he plays a key role in defining the band's message and musical style. His lyrics are often socially conscious, addressing social, political, and environmental themes, while blending humour, emotion, and poetry.
He has been pursuing a solo career since 2025.
