About — The artist
Oh Hiroshima is a post-rock band from Kristinehamm, Sweden. Formed in 2007 by Leif Eliasson and Jakob Hemström, the band expanded in 2011 to welcome Simon Axelsson and Oskar Nilsson, Hemström's younger brother.
In its early days, the band was a musical experimentation project. Eliasson and Hemström were joined in 2011 by Nilsson as bassist then drummer, and Axelsson as drummer.
Their first EPs are Empty Places Full of Memories and Tomorrow, released in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Their first album, released in 2012, is titled Resistance Is Futile. Their second album, In Silence We Yearn, was released in November 2015. It was reissued on CD by Fluttery Records.
