About — The artist
Pure Reason Revolution is a British progressive rock band, originally from Westminster, England. Their influences are vast (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Porcupine Tree, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.), as is their music, which ranges from progressive rock to electronic music.
The band consists of Jon Courtney (vocals, guitar and keyboard), Chloë Alper (vocals, bass and keyboard), Jamie Willcox (guitar and vocals) and Paul Glover (drums). The band broke up in 2011, with the announcement made on August 9 of the same year. Rick Wakeman of The Guardian gave them a favourable review. The members also share their passion for bands such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Nirvana, Justice, Kraftwerk and Fleetwood Mac.
