About — The artist
The Fray is an American rock band from Denver, Colorado. It was formed in 2002 by Isaac Slade (vocals and piano) and Joe King (guitar and vocals). The band was later completed with Ben Wysocki on drums and Dave Welsh on guitar.
With the support of a local Denver radio station, the band recorded its first EP, Movement. The Fray was elected "best new band" by Westword Magazine, and quickly rose to the top of the charts at Denver record stores. Based on this success, the band signed with Epic Records which produced their album How to Save a Life in September 2005. In March 2009, the band released a new album titled The Fray. The latter, sold over 300,000 copies, entered the bestseller charts while the single You Found Me became one of their most successful singles.
On February 7, 2012, their third album, titled Scars and Stories was released. Heartbeat and The Fighters are the first tracks of this album.
