About — The artist
Devon Karpf, known as underscores (stylised in lowercase) or more rarely April Harper Grey, born on 21 April 2000 in San Francisco, is an American electronic music singer-songwriter and producer.
In 2021, she released her debut album, Fishmonger, gaining recognition on the hyperpop scene. She opened for 100 Gecs' tour at the end of that year. In 2023, she released her second album, Wallsocket, accompanied by a North American and European tour.
In 2026, she released her third album, U, and announced that she would be opening for Charli XCX during her tour in the autumn of that year.
