About — The venue

The Chapelle de la Trinité is a deconsecrated Baroque church located in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon, now open as a concert hall. Built by the Jesuits at the beginning of the 17th century, this building of the Collège de la Trinité (now Collège-Lycée Ampère) notably housed an early astronomical observatory in the heart of the city in the 18th century, which would later become the Lyon Observatory upon its transfer to Saint-Genis-Laval.
