Audric De Oliveira, Piano - D'Une Loge à l'Autre
From One Lodge to Another. Some destinies are built in the shadows.
Overview
From One Lodge to Another. Some destinies are built in the shadows.
From One Lodge to Another Some destinies are built in the shadows. Audric de Oliveira, a French-Portuguese pianist and composer, is one of those rare artists who turn their life into a score.
Trained at the greatest musical institutions (Paris, Geneva, Berlin, New York), he nonetheless had to face the facts: music rarely provides a living for those who love it most. Having become a building caretaker, he recorded his album in a Paris caretaker's lodge.
That lodge revealed him to the world; the stages now hold on to him. Expressive, intimate music, where virtuosity, never showy, sits at the heart of his musical language, nourished by his masters: Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy.
Tonight, at the Salle Cortot, he will present his fourth album, entirely devoted to his own works, and offer you what he holds most precious: deeply felt music, born in intimacy and carried to you.
