Dark Circus - STEREOPTIK

Dark Circus STEREOPTIK cine-concert Salle Tardieu Duration 55 minutes From 8 years old Saturday 5 December for families: afternoon snack, workshops and games! When craftsmanship and inventiveness make sparks fly.

Gifted to the tips of their fingers, the STEREOPTIK duo creates a show live, torn between clarity and darkness, with sound effects and live music throughout. Hear ye, hear ye, good people, won't you take a bowl of gloom under the sad big top of the Dark Circus?

Here, the acts end badly and the humour sets teeth on edge. Misfortune and bad luck seem to hang over the ring and over the fate of the performers. Until the unexpected arrival of a juggler who changes the game and tips the mood over to the magical, luminous side of the force.

Gifted to the tips of their fingers, the STEREOPTIK duo creates a show live, torn between clarity and darkness, with sound effects and live music throughout.

Based on a tale written by Pef (author of the brilliant The Prince of Motordu), the inspired duo takes us into an animated film created live on stage, using paper puppets, ink or charcoal drawings, sand, water and a thousand other materials.

Created and performed by Romain Bermond, Jean-Baptiste Maillet. Based on an original story by Pef. Outside eye: Frédéric Maurin. Technical direction: Frank Jamond, Arnaud Viala
