From the breathtaking overture to the fatal dinner with the Commendatore, including the catalogue aria, his dramma giocoso, a subtle alliance of comedy and drama, leaves no one untouched. Director Louisa Proske, making her debut at the Opéra national de Paris, sets the action in a grand hotel, a place capable of transgressing social structures and revealing the protagonists' most buried fantasies.
