Overview
It is the true story of a son who sets off in search of his father on a whim. Except that his father died fifteen years ago and never lived with him. In the son's hands, three maps remain: a map of the Congo, of Antarctica and of Libya.
The son hits the road… Emmanuel De Candido clings to the ball of fire pulsing in his belly, criss-crossing three continents and nearly a century of history. He traces a dazzling, intimate epic that deconstructs the notions of filiation, inheritance and masculinity.
