Grande soirée de remise des Prix MeTooMedia 2026

Democracy rests on an essential condition: trust. Trust in institutions, in the media, in the justice system, but also in the possibility for each and every person to speak out and be heard. It is in this spirit that the Théâtre de la Concorde is hosting the second edition of the MeTooMedia Prizes, organised by the associations MeTooMedia and Femmes Journalistes de Sport.

For several years now, the MeToo movement has profoundly transformed public debate and allowed long-invisible stories to emerge. The MeTooMedia Prizes are part of this momentum by celebrating those whose journalistic, documentary, literary or artistic work contributes to a better understanding of sexist and sexual violence, which is still far too prevalent in 2026. This second edition carries forward the ambition of the first: to reward in-depth investigations, poignant accounts and works that break the silence. The Prizes salute the commitment, rigour and courage of those who inform, raise awareness and help change perspectives, narratives and media practices towards a more responsible culture. Beyond the award presentations, the evening will be punctuated by speeches, discussions and artistic interventions around a central issue: trust. How can each and every person be heard? How can trust be rebuilt once it has been undermined? What role can the media, culture and journalism play in bringing forth fairer accounts and supporting this transformation?
