Grande soirée de remise des Prix MeTooMedia 2026

Democracy rests on an essential condition: trust. Trust in institutions, in the media, in justice, but also in the possibility for everyone to speak out and be heard. It is in this spirit that the Théâtre de la Concorde hosts the second edition of the MeTooMedia Awards, organised by the associations MeTooMedia and Femmes Journalistes de Sport.

For several years, the MeToo movement has profoundly transformed public debate and allowed for the emergence of stories that had long remained invisible. The MeTooMedia Awards are part of this dynamic, honouring those whose journalistic, documentary, literary or artistic work contributes to a better understanding of gender-based and sexual violence, which is still all too present in 2026. This second edition continues the ambition of the first: to reward in-depth investigations, poignant stories, and works that break the silence. The Awards celebrate the commitment, rigour, and courage of those who inform, raise awareness, and help evolve perspectives, narratives, and media practices towards a more responsible culture. Beyond the awards ceremony, the evening will feature speeches, discussions, and artistic interventions centred around a key issue: trust. How can everyone be heard? How can trust be rebuilt when it has been weakened? What role can media, culture, and journalism play in bringing forth fairer narratives and supporting this transformation?
