Created in 1932 in homage to the great reporter Albert Londres, the Prix Albert-Londres is the most prestigious distinction in French-language journalism.

Each year, it rewards young journalists in the print, audiovisual, and book categories, whose work demonstrates a commitment to investigation, independence, and rigour. Albert Londres summarised the journalist's mission as follows: "Our job is not to please, nor to harm.

It is to put the pen in the wound. " The Théâtre de la Concorde is proud to host the Albert-Londres Prize 2026 award ceremony.

While the awarding of prizes for print, audiovisual, and book journalism constitutes its core, this evening has also become over the years a time for reflection and dialogue around journalism, its practices, and its democratic responsibility.

Journalists, field reporters, representatives of major journalism events, and guests from France and abroad will gather to celebrate demanding journalism, committed to facts and investigation, and to recall how essential information remains as a common good for democratic life.
