30pm Cast: Orchestre national d'Île-de-France Eugène Tzigane, conductor Takuma Ishii, piano Programme: Grieg, Piano Concerto Dvořák, New World Symphony The Auditorium, the flagship hall of La Seine Musicale, captivates with its immersive 360-degree architecture, inspired by the vineyard model, offering a unique closeness between performers and audience.
A genuine acoustic showcase, it hosts an ambitious programme devoted to great repertoire works, recitals and exceptional musical projects.
Season after season, the resident orchestra of La Seine Musicale, Insula orchestra, and its guest season, build a strong artistic identity there.
These outstanding ensembles share the stage with internationally renowned soloists and emerging young talent, making every concert a singular moment.
At the crossroads of tradition and creation, the Auditorium's programming fully reflects the dynamism and openness of today's classical scene.
Grieg's Piano Concerto captivates from its very first bars with its ardour and lyricism: the piano unfolds Scandinavian folk themes with dazzling, passionate virtuosity, also capable of delicate poetry, elevated by the grace and masterful touch of Takuma Ishii, a multi-award-winning Japanese soloist devoted to the Romantic repertoire.
The Orchestre national d'Île-de-France, under the sensitive baton of conductor Eugène Tzigane, will continue exploring dreamed-of landscapes with Dvořák's New World Symphony: composed in the United States, this score blends epic sweep and nostalgia, bringing the great classical tradition into dialogue with Eastern European folklore.
From its famous meditative Largo to the triumphant strains of the Finale, the work is carried by inexhaustible melodic inspiration. Contact for accessible-seating bookings: access
