Keziah Jones - Tournée

After a ten-year break without a new album, Keziah Jones returns in strong form with a major record that has the air of a manifesto, mischievously titled Alive and Kicking (meaning roughly "alive and on top form").

Recorded in live conditions at home in Lagos, Nigeria, in the heart of Femi Kuti's studios, this new release combines covers and new tracks with his greatest hits in live versions.

Also present are the late Joey "Anchor man" Grant and new recruit Alex 'Beanz' Miller, both on bass, as well as Edem "Amen" Viana on additional guitar.

The album contains 11 live studio versions of Keziah Jones classics, plus 2 new tracks, "Melissa" and "Rainy Saturday", and 2 covers: "Beds Too Big Without You" by The Police and "Pass the Joint" by Rick James.
