A rite-of-passage journey of a child prodigy

Kolizion is a fantastical tale. A coming-of-age journey, both modern and mythic, like a miniature odyssey or a fiery poem about a shooting star.

Kolizion is a fantastical tale. On the night of his birth, under a full moon, two shooting stars collide. The explosion gives shape to his face. His mother declares: “He shall be called Mehdi, the guide enlightened by God.” A coming-of-age journey, both modern and mythic, like a miniature odyssey or a fiery poem about a shooting star. Between dreamlike and realist, in an imaginary setting of earth and light, Mehdi recounts his life in order to understand its thread and its meaning. This poetic fable, studded with twists and comic touches, takes us into the intimate and marvellous story of a being, with his paradoxes and his blindness, right up to his encounter with himself.
