In contact with what gives life its savour? One evening, in their kitchen, a couple at the end of their tether, running on empty, grasp the questions that hurt and look the reality of their relationship squarely in the face. In the next room, their baby is asleep. The conversation will last all night, because they have been putting off this discussion for far too long, caught up in the constant flow and management of daily life, exhaustion, work and having too much on their plate. Boutaïna El Fekkak and Jérémie Scheidler have created an intimate fiction that speaks to the unease felt by everyone. When do we finally take the time to live? That precious time which cannot be quantified. That useless time, which is enough in itself, in the grace of the present moment.
