Ido and Hannan are two Israeli directors. One lives in Tel Aviv, the other in Paris. In 2022, a European festival commissioned them to create a show on a perfectly reasonable question: what does it mean to be Israeli today? Then came the attack of October 7 and the extreme violence unleashed in their name. Big existential artistic question: what do we do now? They choose the worst possible option: not knowing. They play their own roles, contradicting each other live. Genocide, Terror, Shoah, the words burn and they sink into their paradoxes. Funny, biting, and sometimes absurd. A show that seeks neither to reconcile nor to reassure, but to look chaos straight in the eye.
