Ido and Hannan are two Israeli theatre directors. One lives in Tel Aviv, the other in Paris. In 2022, a European festival commissioned them to create a show on a perfectly reasonable question: what does it mean to be Israeli today? Then came the attack of 7 October and the extreme violence unleashed in their name. A big existential artistic question: what do we do now? They choose the worst possible option: not to know. They play their own roles, contradicting themselves live. Genocide, terror, Shoah: the words burn, and they sink deeper into their paradoxes. Funny, caustic and at times absurd.
