Overview
Discover the Niflette, Provins' iconic medieval pastry. These small puff pastry treats feature a voluptuous custard subtly flavored with orange blossom. The origin of the niflette dates back to the Middle Ages and All Saints' Day. ", meaning "do not weep".
Today, the pastry chefs of Provins keep the tradition alive and still offer Niflettes to their customers at All Saints' Day. The perimeter of the festival is expanding, from Place Saint-Ayoul to the funfair!
On the program: More than 150 exhibitors from Place Saint-Ayoul to Rue de la Cordonnerie, Rue de la Friperie and Rue Hugues le Grand, and on Avenue Alain Peyrefitte all the way to Place du 29ème Dragon.
Crafts, local and gastronomic produce, home goods, decoration and entertainment for the whole family!
Niflette Village with continuous workshops and demonstrations by Provins bakers, with the support of the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat Île-de-France – Seine-et-Marne, as well as the Confrérie du Brie de Meaux. Fun activities with Accrovoile, Accrotour and the Belle Roue!
The festival will be accompanied by a musical atmosphere featuring Lazcar Volcano and La Fafara – Fissa Papa.
