The five musicians continue to explore the unfathomable beauty of being alive, the wild joy of never having broken their promise: to make the music they love, and to love the music they make.
The album's title, « La Timidité des arbres », is a nod to the final album by 16 Horsepower: it celebrates their love of folk music – from the tex-mex mariachi of Calexico to the misty ballads of Shane MacGowan, by way of the scorching dust of Ali Farka Touré – and their love of people, even when those people are behaving utterly foolishly.
