Overview
La Maison Tellier returns to the stage to present its new album Timidité des Arbres. And for this grand musical celebration, the five companions have pulled out all the stops by choosing the Elysée Montmartre as the setting to showcase this eighth opus. A resolutely unmissable date.
Timidité des Arbres: eighth album from the Normandy combo. Still the best value for money in music with instruments in France. Helmut and his gang continue to explore the unfathomable beauty of being alive, the wild joy of never having failed their promise: to make the music they love, and to love the music they make. It's all in the title, a nod to the final album by 16Horsepower: an album celebrating their love of folk music — from the Tex-Mex mariachi of Calexico to the misty ballads of Shane MacGowan, by way of the scorching dust of Ali Farka Touré — and their love of humans, even when those humans are making a complete mess of things. That's all, Folks.
