They carry within them stories, emotions, landscapes and sometimes even questions that continue to resonate long after the last note. I like songs that leave room for risk.

” Between revisited standards, unknown treasures and improvisations, Jazz Explorations is an invitation to listen, to discover and to surprise. Throughout this residency, the standards we think we know sometimes take unexpected directions. Forgotten songs find a voice again.

Arrangements evolve, improvisations open new perspectives and each concert becomes a singular adventure, shaped by the present moment. Because a song is never quite the same when you sing it again. And perhaps that is where all the magic of jazz lies.

Created in 2012, this slot has given rise to a series of bimonthly residencies allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to hone a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and inspiring slot where creativity and effervescence have no limits!
