Starting from the question of organ harvesting from so-called “deceased” donors, Faroudja Hocini and Bruno Dallaporta offer an original reflection on consciousness, the person, and living beings.

Their approach invites us to confront different points of view, question our representations, and fuel a civic debate around these societal issues.

Faroudja Hocini is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, philosopher, and associate researcher at the Chair of Philosophy at Sainte-Anne Hospital (GHU Paris Psychiatrie & Neurosciences).

Bruno Dallaporta is a nephrologist at the Fondation Santé des Étudiants de France, a doctor of science, and a doctor of ethics, specialising in philosophy applied to health.
