Lio - Tournée

Revealed by her unmissable single Banana Split, Lio today stands as one of the greatest French-language pop icons. The release of Banana Split in 1979 paved the way for a run of hits such as Amoureux Solitaires, Amicalement Vôtre, and Week-end à Rome, a duet with Étienne Daho. With 11 albums to her name, Lio is making a major comeback with her 12th studio album, Geoid Party in the Sky.

The record was born from a desire to return to her first loves and to pay tribute to the wonderful encounters that life has brought her. Encounters from her career, too, and that is above all what her new project is rich in. Lio has therefore called on some of the biggest names of the new pop generation: Louane, Hoshi, Corine, Isia Marie, Betta Lemme, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Marie Darrieussecq and Sofia Portanet have all agreed to write for the Belgian-Portuguese icon.

Each text is first and foremost built around an encounter or a handing-down, and deals with themes shared by all women, across every generation. Lio will tour throughout France and take to the legendary stage of the Olympia in Paris on 17 December 2026!
