Masks by Étienne Champion
Following the success of Masques et nez, in which Igor Mendjisky delighted in a genuine-sham lesson in theatre with humour and passion, the author and director returns to mask theatre with Notre humble avis. In a village, people from all walks of life create their own radio programme around art criticism and share their opinions on a play. From the grotesque to the sublime, this humanity full of contradictions recalls the strong bond between the stage and the audience and restores the full dimension of the theatrical act: provoking emotions and opening a dialogue in which every voice finds its place.
